Desktop and mobile apps
The Mac, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android shells.
Moola runs in any modern browser, installs as a web app, and ships native shells for desktop and phones. They all sign in to the same account and show the same workspace.
Install from the browser
On a laptop, use your browser's Install option (in the address bar in Chrome and Edge; Add to Dock in Safari). On a phone, Add to Home Screen. The installed app opens in its own window, keeps working for navigation when offline, and retries saves once you are back.
Desktop app
A Mac, Windows, and Linux app built with Tauri. It loads the hosted web app, so it is always current, and adds:
- a native window and menu,
- sign-in with Google through your system browser,
- bank linking through Plaid in your system browser,
- automatic updates.
Mobile app
iOS and Android apps built with Capacitor. They add:
- a biometric lock on open and after 60 seconds in the background,
- sign-in with Google and Plaid linking through the system browser, returning to the app when done,
- safe-area layout for the notch and home indicator.
On iOS, subscriptions are managed on the web; see Plans and billing.
